Let the decorating begin...
Kaitlyn helped every once in awhile with guidance from her mom.
Taking a break to talk to her brother.
She loved ALL her presents. I guess that goes without saying. What kid doesn't? But she would have been fine with opening one present and just playing with that one for awhile instead of opening them all at once. Unfortunately, the adults didn't feel like taking all afternoon with the presents so we coaxed her along.
Chad even liked playing with her ball.

I love the cake!! I made my 3 yr old a strawberry shortcake cake, too, but it was only the head and shoulders and I used a shaped pan. Took awhile to make, but she loved it!
I enjoyed seeing the development of the cake.
Your chillens and the birthday cake are oh-so-cute! I can see your mom and dad in Kaitlyn and your little guy looks more like his daddy.

@doubledwandfamily - Nope, no cake for me. My splurge of the day is ice cream with chocolate chips and peanut butter. I am supposed to be loosing weight...
that cake is so neat. McKenzie also had a strawberry shortcake cake but it wasn't that elaborate.
Happy Belated....promise I thought of it! There really is something about our two girls that seems strangely alike somehow! Wonder if they'd get along..??? Who knows.
